Bokeo, a remote Northern town of Laos, riched in Sapphire. From
Bokeo, one can take the boat trip along the Mekong River to Huaysai/Chiangkhong border
into the Northern Part of Thailand - the Golden Triangle.

DAY 1
ARRIVE VIENTIANE
Arrival in Vientiane, either at Wattay Airport or Thai-Lao Friendship
Bridge. Meet and transfer to the hotel. Sightseeing around the city visiting That Luang
(1566), the revered Wat Prakeo (1565), Wat Sisaket, and the Arch Monument. Dinner and
overnight.
DAY 2 VIENTIANE-LUANGPRABANG
Breakfast. Flight to Luangprabang, then transfer to the hotel. Lunch.
Afternoon, sightseeing around this charmful royal city. Dinner. |
DAY 3 LUANGPRABANG
Breakfast. Full day excursion by boat along the Mekong River to the
holy cave temple of Pak-Ou, situated in the cliff overlooking the river. Hundreds of
antique Buddha images can be found. Lunch en-route. Dinner.
DAY 4 LUANGPRABANG-BOKEO
Breakfast. Visit of the National Museum (Former Royal Palace). Flight
to Bokeo and transfer to the hotel. Lunch. Afternoon city tour of Bokeo. Dinner
DAY 5 BOKEO-GOLDEN TRIANGLE & LAO DEPARTURE
Breakfast. Visit the precious stone extraction plants. Lunch.
Afternoon, excursion by boat trip along Mekong River to the heart of the Golden Triangle.
Departure to Chiangsaen by ferry boat.
NOTE:
This tour departs from Huaysia/Chiangkhong Border to the
North of Thailand.
